ON THE JOB (RagingStallion.Com)

This marvelous movie is so well-videographed by Tony Dimarco and Ben Leon that the sheer pleasure of looking at it almost distracts from the sex—BUT the sex is so hot that you wouldn’t care if it was shot on a web-cam! The “jobs” involved include photography-and-modeling, sanding walls, and building instructor and construction workman. But they all take their breaks the same way. We don’t find out till scene four what work Manuel DeBoxer is exhausted from in scene two, but it isn’t anything he can’t be revived from by a porn video and RJ Danvers, (Logan McRee’s unfaithful lover in THE DRIFTER ). Other cast members are Antonio Biaggi, Aitor Crash, the youngsters Adam North and Justin Christopher as the sexy sanders, and as the easily-distractible building inspector who gets construction worker DeBoxer, the almost unbelievably handsome Tyler Saint. TWINKS IN PARADISE (HydeParkProductions.Com)

This widescreen delight looks very much like Hyde Park’s A BOY’S DREAM, and seems to have been shot in the same bone-white Acapulco resort with the same cast. What else do I need to say? If you’ve a taste for very slender, very young, very pink, very hung twinks in heavenly settings, this is your midnight boner-binge. 1972’s RAW COUNTRY (BijouWorld.Com)

Three-scene hippie fantasy directed by J. Brian, one of Bijou’s many rediscovered or reclaimed porn artists. First: hippiedom gone bestial. A blond forest-hiker happens upon a dreamlike scene of nude youths at a waterfall. He’s informed that there are “no women” and the boys come here for “a little messin’ around.” He rebuffs a grope and hikes on to a camping-spot, where he witnesses another rebuffer who doesn’t get off so easily, getting chased-down, stripped, and gang-raped over a rock by seven nasty nudes. They leave him over the rock like garbage. Next: gentle hippies. A dude hangs to a tree a glass mobile which attracts two dudes for a sunlit trio. Third: playful hippies. SPORTIN’ WOOD (ASG-Media.Com)

The straight guys in the Amateur Straight Guys house giggle like kids about what they’re there to do. Kelley and Paul are two beefy Marine types whom director Doug gets drunk enough by the swimming pool for Kelley to suck Paul off indoors. Co-producer Jay eats some of the leavings, then lovingly gobbles the whole load of slim, cropcut, earringed brunet, huge-hung Tiny. Now, look at that cover! Another Bijou recovery of a J. Brian film, rather well-preserved. Business starts early at a Hollywood gym, and it’s mostly blond! Action starts lazily, with a kiss on a weight-board, which develops into a two-blond/two-brunet fourway in the locker-room. “Where is everybody?” asks the boss. “Where do you think, Sherlock?” cracks the receptionist. A threeway gets going in the shower. One guy’s so horny he fucks between the shoulder-blades of a kneeling cocksucker! “You feel like wrestling?” one blond asks another. The resultant match is tumultuous. After a sauna duo comes the main feature, ten men, two of them black, pig-piling, twistin’ and fistin’ like it hadn’t gone out of style! 1982’s LIGHT BLUE HANKY (FrenchConnXXX.Com)

God, remember the HANKY CODE? Your hanky color told what you were into, and the side you wore it on whether you were active or passive? Navy blue for fucking, red for fisting, chicken yellow for cannibalism – no, I’m joking. But the code was widely prevalent in the “clone” era, and saved a lot of negotiating and second-guessing. Light blue meant cocksucking, and the hero here wears his firmly on the right. Director (and presumably writer) Hank Leigh reveals a mystic side in his narration, but is all action onscreen. I’m reviewing this hetero movie because it’s from Doug & Jay, the dirty duo who produce the AMATEUR STRAIGHT GUYS series. I figure THIS is one of the straight movies D&J keep promising their models they can do if they’ll just get their asses plowed on camera. I recognize a couple of the guys. In fact, I think it’s in the same bed! The guys are hunks, the girls are gorgeous (I didn’t spot a fake tit in the lot), and if you like tongues and cocks going into cunt, you will have a wonderful time with this movie. 1974’s softcore SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE BATHS – THE DIRECTOR’S CUT (WaterBearerfilms.Com)

This little unburied treasure takes place in the fabled Continental Baths. (No, Bette Midler isn’t in it—but above is an unpublished James D. Gossage photo of her at La Mama in 1965, six years before her Continental smash.) A straight blond pianist (Robert Aberdeen) takes a job playing for the Continental’s poolside show. His fiancée (Ellen Sheppard) is amused, tolerant. He’s edgy, unsure of himself in the Gay Pride/glitter-ball atmosphere where men dance in towels and swim nude. Exactly what you want to happen happens, believably and lovably. Director David Buckley is equally at home with disco and drama. A Central Park gays-against-straights football game is a delightful “set piece.” There are flashes of Carmen Miranda, Shirley Bassey, Diana Ross, and Judy Garland drags, and a near-nude all-male ballet. Buckley, Aberdeen, and Sheppard should have been catapulted into major careers after this. If you’ve a human heart, the romantic shots of 1974 Manhattan will just about tear it out. How long since you’ve seen a waterbed, hmmm? Buy this neglected pleasure at last HERE.

DIRTY BRIEFS: I saw these movies at a friend’s house and took no notes.
