Reviewed are POUNDING THE PAVEMENT (LucasEntertainment.com), BIG BIGGER BIGGEST PART 2 (RagingStallion.Com), RAGS TO RICHES, THE BIG ONE, HEAD STRUCK, and TOP BRASS MILITARY ISSUE #3 (C1R.Com), TOMMY LIMA IN BRAZIL (AlexanderPictures.com), CUM TWICE (StreetBoys.Eu), and SINFUL SESSIONS (SinergyFilms.Com).

Michael Lucas’ romance with Manhattan continues in this lightly-scripted all-action movie, POUNDING THE PAVEMENT (LucasEntertainment.com). Maybe he’s just keeping the pot boiling while waiting for funds or inspiration for another masterpiece like La Dolce Vita or Dangerous Liaisons? Well, here the pot boils very nicely indeed, in three duos and two trios, featuring a drool-producing variety of men both familiar and fresh. Of course, magical Michael’s own appearance in scene four with Claudio Martin and Kurt Wild is the peak (such a peak that Wild shoots two loads), but nothing has been spared to make each scene maximally macho and nasty. Redhead Blu Kennedy is as inexplicably irresistible as ever in a roof-garden rectum-wrecker with two other young males nearly as attractive as he, fucking and getting fucked in full sight of office workers in tall towers with telescopes. The final, frenzied duo pays full homage to the male foot, as well as the male inches. All the scenes take place in settings that hint at culture and Bohemianism. (maybe the next major opus is La Boheme?) The settings’ colors, by the way, are exceptionally rich and deep, making all that manflesh stand out almost luridly, reminiscent of those nearly three-dimensional ivory bodies against red-black voids in Caravaggio’s darkest Baroque art. This is a swell movie. The Director’s Cut features rooftop urination onto Hanson and Alencar, and Lucas standing in a bathtub peeing with remarkably good aim into the open mouth of super-cute Wild (this shot from a stunning angle). Lucas pees up into his own mouth, too. In Behind the Scenes, the fully-exposed rooftop horseplay is the most fun—that and Lucas exerting his hypnotic interview style on innocent-looking twenty-one year old Wild, who discusses his three children! Widescreen BIG BIGGER BIGGEST PART 2 (RagingStallion.Com) is directed by Michael (sigh) Brandon, but its cover-star Roman Ragazzi looks like Sam Dixon might look on steroids, and a damned good way that is to look, too! Ragazzi’s a big ol’ brunet bodybuilder-bear right out of a superhero movie, and we’re talking IMAX! He’s the mythological epicenter of the movie, the erotic ideal that everyone’s leather-clad bodies are striving for, but everyone’s hot, handsome, and hung. The movie takes place in an abstract, dilettante-dungeon space (shadowy hallways, chain-link fencing, a sling). Chests heave, abs ripple, chaps flap, mouths gape, cocks pump, cum splatters, it’s a party you’d love to attend, but would hate to have to clean up after. The other cast members are Antonio Biaggi, Justin Christopher, Enrique Currero, Bo Matthews, Tristan Phoenix, Dak Ramsey, Damian Rios, and let us never forget the throbbing music of J.D. CHANNEL 1 . Okay. Put on your magic boots and sword and summon your charming hand-puppet companion (voice by an English actor) and dive bravely into the tangled jungle of Channel 1 ‘s interlocking franchises and mad-maze of a website. Your reward will be four damned good movies, each delightful in a different way:

1993’s RAGS TO RICHES (C1R.Com) is a Catalina comedy with (1) a whole lot of healthy, tanned, moderately short-haired surfer types, (2) a fun, ahead-of-its-time, intelligent suburban gay couple, and (3) an interesting story (A derelict concert pianist wanders out of an alley into the fun couple’s home. Besides filling the home with music, the pianist also arouses testosterone all around,). Above all, the movie offers (4) early Zak Spears. Zak Spears was the next biggest thing in porn after Jack Wrangler. He was the James Garner/Dennis Quaid of gay porn, a handsome, hunky, virile, slightly swishy dish with wit in his very walk and a twinkle in his eye which rose straight up from his scrotum. Zak is but a minor character in this tale, but his hypnotically handsome face, erotic athleticism, and the sparkle in his smile are the payoff of the funny plot. What a hoot!!! 1988’s THE BIG ONE (C1R.Com) features pretty damned good earthquake effects and then creates several plausible reasons why guys after a shock would want cock. One furniture-mover asks another for “a hand” and gets mouth and asshole thrown in. Guys trapped in an elevator assume this may be their last chance for joy (“That tastes good, sir.” “You’ll go far in this company.”). Another pair celebrate their survival. A doctor’s attempt at resuscitation starts mouth-to-mouth but moves farther south. Some hunks have funny hair and mustaches, but all have very serious cocks and very serious holes to stick them in. 1990’s HEAD STRUCK (C1R.Com) “My roommate, he still might be asleep.” “What’s the matter? Think I’ll like him better?” “It wouldn’t make any difference…He’s straight.” Not only is the roommate straight, but a gay-hater. TOP BRASS MILITARY ISSUE #3 (C1R.Com)”Keith, come into Dirk’s bedroom,” cries the offscreen Dirty Old Director, Dirk Yates, to the first of a baker’s dozen of presumably straight presumed servicemen who chat with Yates like he was a comical older relative who’s always good for pocket money, and engage in eighty three minutes of a trio and two duos, then two hours of eight solos, a duo, and a trio. That is to say, the whole thing takes two hundred and three minutes. It couldn’t be more pleasant and folksy if it tried. In the middle of sexual combinations which you’d think would be pretty absorbing, the lads laugh with Yates and each other. They nod when he issues suggestions or commands for their activities. Crewcuts, dogtags, and tattoos abound. And so now and then do flashbulbs. Bed and wall colors change now and then. The very beautiful and very impressive TOMMY LIMA IN BRAZIL (AlexanderPictures.com) comprises three movies, left to right below (pics courtesy alexanderpictures.com) : (1) ON THE BEACH, (2) IN THE JUNGLE, and (3) SOCCER PLAY. Mister Lima is a tall, long-faced youth with narrow, expressive eyes, dark brows on a creamy forehead, and a muscular body shockingly like Roman sculpture. Amidst stunning metropolitan Brazilian scenery and in attractive apartments, he and other lovelies of several luscious colors do five scenes per picture. There’s a swimming-pool fiveway in ON THE BEACH (which really takes place more in a swank hotel), a lot of voyeuring through greenery in IN THE JUNGLE (which really takes place in a great park in the middle of Rio de Janeiro), and quite a lot of splendid stadium shots at the beginning of SOCCER PLAY (which then retires happily to locker room, shower, and sauna).
