Legendary Director Jean Daniel Cadinot Dies

(1944-2008) Legendary director Jean-Daniel Cadinot whom you know from such mega hits of the 90' as The Traveling Journeymen [1989], Sex Bazaar [1984], Safari City [1999], the mega hit Le Coursier [1990], Service Actif [1990], Pension Complete [1988] and Becoming Men [1982], died last Wednesday April 23 from a massive heart attack.

Cadinot was one of the hottest directors of the 20th Century. Whenever Cadinot released a gay xxx feature in America, it immediately generated revenue for retailers. A gentlemen, a scolar, and a perfectionist is the best way to describe Jean Daniel Cadinot.

He started French Art Entertainment in 1978 and produced his first feature which is entitled Tendres Adolescents [1980].

With his style behind the camera, Cadinot was able to keep fans glued to their television screens. He had a way of putting his models together who were truly into each other and when the cameras rolled, the performers delivered. His "A+" trademark was his cumshots! No one in the business could replicate his orgasm style of closing out a scene.

Michael Lucas made his debut in Gay XXX films when he starred in Cadinot's Press Book [1996] when he modeled for the legendary director under the stage name Ramzes Kairoff. Cadinot was also awarded with the Best Director Award from the Venus Awards in Berlin in both 1997 and 2001. GayVN honored the perfectionist with the Best Director award and inducted him into the GayVN Hall of Fame back in 1991.

May all the efforts and work of a whole life, the quest for the moment of pure truth in the sublime communion of two beings under the spell of the undefinable desire for the other, inspire those who inherit my heart.

The human being is made such that it only remembers the good and the beautiful, therefore I leave you with a free mind and a head overflowing with a myriad of young men, sometimes strong and vigorous, sometimes fragile and sensitive. All of them gave me these unforgettable moments of their most tender intimacy, moments that only a few really know but which I made in to images to allow you to admire them over and over again.

Never were success or personal fortune my creed. You offered me gratitude, and I thank you for that because I wanted nothing else. Cadinot salutes you. Remember a kindly fellow, an extreme observer given to rages and contradiction but who listened to others and was full of love."
