October 22, 2006 … Been a great month here! And so much more to come in the few remaining months of the year. If you haven’t kept up on Johnny Hazzard you’ve been missing out. First, he’s just a damn nice guy. Totally uneffected. Then, he’s smart, intellectual, a good business man - not your average porn star by any means. Great news for fans of the male form. COLT is releasing an amazing book. Totally limited edition with no reprints - so pre-order now. I’m always happy to see great things happening at Hot House, and especially for one of my industry favorites - AVN Hall of Fame Director Steven Scarborough. He was recognized as Best Director at the recent 14th Barcelona International Erotic Film Festival (FICEB). Steven did received the prestigious “HeatGay” award for his powerful, dark direction of The Missing for Hot House Video.

On hearing the news, a Steven commented ‘The Barcelona Festival is one of Europe’s largest erotic film festivals and being honored by their judges is quite an honor. I feel blessed to be working with so many talented performers - and my production team at Hot House is quite honestly the finest I’ve ever worked with in all my 20 years of experience.”

One of Scarborough’s darkest and most intense movies, The Missing has already been honored twice this year as Best Leather Movie, both at the 2006 GAYVNs and Grabby Awards.

If you ever have the pleasure of meeting Steven, I promise you, he IS that sincere and humble. Okay - he’s also talented and beautiful. Damn! Bookmark his blog - it’s a must-read!

Remember - we’re just a few weeks away from voting. Odd how gas prices are down and stocks are up… Those tricky republicans! I can’t speak for you guys, but all my friends with yachts have bigger yachts now, and I, well I still don’t own a yacht. And “stay the course” will change… AFTER the election. Hmmmm! Exercise your right to vote!

In case you hadn’t guessed, I’m a huge fan of Real Time with Bill Mayer. This week he featured David Kuo who has written a book on how Bush has let down people of faith in this country. Kuo speaks as a real person of faith - not some lunatic fringe. Catch the show, read his book. It’s pretty amazing stuff!

This week, check out “School for Lovers” by Lucas Kazan. I can’t even tell you how many videos I get - and most of them are crap - even from the big studios. God save the next studio to ask why I don’t pay attention to their “audition” videos… Hello - they suck! Well, as many videos as I watch, I really was drawn into “School for Lovers”. It’s stunning - give it a serious look!

Finally, my ex-boss and dear friend (who also created Wet Palms) Brett Drysdale is finally launching his long-awaited new show, “The Money Shot Report” this week starring Brad Benton. I just spoke with him and he’s like an expectant mother! Expect some exclusive news here next week after the launch and things settle down. Congratulations, good luck, and best of success, Brett!  It’s well deserved! More on this as the air date approaches!

Please remember to spay or neuter your pet. GayPornSpace has been involved in 5 dog rescues over the last two weeks alone. It’s a crime to see these loving animals discarded.
