October 29, 2006 … Happy Halloween! Lot’s of great stuff happening this weekend. End of the month here at GayPornSpace and we’ve got lots of new stuff here for you.

We also have a password problem. Gremlins in the server. Sorry about that - should be fixed the first of the week. Maybe even get easier passwords to use that don’t resemble nuclear launch codes!

My dear friend Brett Drysdale has launched The Money Shot Report starring Brad Benton. Make sure to check out my review and then watch the episode. It’s the best thing to hit porn in a long time. I really enjoyed it.

Check it out.  “E” is the feature dog rescue of the week.  He’s looking a bit scruffy - but so would you if you were in the pound!  He’s now getting a lot of TLC and I’ll post a picture of him in a few weeks after his makeover.

Bang … The Month Ends HOT …

October 22, 2006 … Been a great month here! And so much more to come in the few remaining months of the year. If you haven’t kept up on Johnny Hazzard you’ve been missing out. I’m always happy to see great things happening at Hot House, and especially for one of my industry favorites - AVN Hall of Fame Director Steven Scarborough. He was recognized as Best Director at the recent 14th Barcelona International Erotic Film Festival (FICEB). Steven did received the prestigious “HeatGay” award for his powerful, dark direction of The Missing for Hot House Video.

On hearing the news, a Steven commented ‘The Barcelona Festival is one of Europe’s largest erotic film festivals and being honored by their judges is quite an honor. I feel blessed to be working with so many talented performers - and my production team at Hot House is quite honestly the finest I’ve ever worked with in all my 20 years of experience.”

One of Scarborough’s darkest and most intense movies, The Missing has already been honored twice this year as Best Leather Movie, both at the 2006 GAYVNs and Grabby Awards.

If you ever have the pleasure of meeting Steven, I promise you, he IS that sincere and humble. Okay - he’s also talented and beautiful. Damn! Bookmark his blog - it’s a must-read!

In case you hadn’t guessed, I’m a huge fan of Real Time with Bill Mayer. This week he featured David Kuo who has written a book on how Bush has let down people of faith in this country. Kuo speaks as a real person of faith - not some lunatic fringe. Catch the show, read his book. It’s pretty amazing stuff!

This week, check out “School for Lovers” by Lucas Kazan. I can’t even tell you how many videos I get - and most of them are crap - even from the big studios. God save the next studio to ask why I don’t pay attention to their “audition” videos… Hello - they suck! Well, as many videos as I watch, I really was drawn into “School for Lovers”. It’s stunning - give it a serious look!

Finally, my ex-boss and dear friend (who also created Wet Palms) Brett Drysdale is finally launching his long-awaited new show, “The Money Shot Report” this week starring Brad Benton. I just spoke with him and he’s like an expectant mother! Expect some exclusive news here next week after the launch and things settle down. Congratulations, good luck, and best of success, Brett!  It’s well deserved! More on this as the air date approaches!

This Week on GayPornSpace …

October 14, 2006 … Summer is over with a change in the weather. And with that another year is almost done. WOW how time flies. The election is less than 30 days away. Amazing how gas prices have dropped. Coincidence? I don’t think so. Remember to exercise your right to vote. CLICK HERE to ROCK THE VOTE!

I just got an email from Heather at Lucas Entertainment. Expect to see some great things real soon here on La Dolce Vita. I love Heather. And that works out for all of us. Maybe we can get a sneak peak ahead of everyone else of this great film.

On the lighter side, the exhibition on homosexuality in animals at a museum in Europe heats up the debate about whether we are natural or unnatural. Homosexuality has been documented in over 1500 species of animals. Geir Soeli, the project leader of the exhibition entitled “Against Nature,” says “The sexual urge is strong in all animals. … It’s a part of life, it’s fun to have sex.” In response, one radical Christian said organizers of the exhibition — partly funded by the Norwegian government — should “burn in hell.” Now there’s a surprise. See you all in hell. And as for being natural, do botox, collegen and steroids count?  I’ll trade natural for fabulous anyday!

Disney has its hands full with employees shooting backstage antics in costume. I’d devote more time to it, but the porn we see is so much better. You would think with all the creativity at Disney, someone could have had a strap-on to heat up the video!

This week on GayPornSpace there have been some changes. We’ve revised the menu structure to add space for an interactive section of the site (I’d tell you more but I’m still making it all up).

Look for the “NEW” flashing banners which show the way to the latest content.

This week, we’ve got some HOT pictures and a review of Corbin Fisher’s newest websites featuring College Men. Okay, college guys are hot studs to begin with. But Corbin has outdone himself. The photography is almost coffee book and Abercrombie level.  It’s so good I featured the largest gallery I’ve ever posted for a review all year. You have to check it out!

Studios Launch Best Films To End Year …

October 7, 2006 … Back after a few well deserved weeks off. Last week I got up a couple of the hottest new movies of the year, Doggie Style and The Velvet Mafia.  Just when the year was looking like a wash-out with average porn, the studios have held their best for last.

Doggie Style is a fun sexual romp. As you know I’m all about dogs, and Shane Collins delivers big in acting opposite his furry friends, then big in the bedroom with charisma that is simply amazing.

The Velvet Mafia is a huge production with lots of big names. There have been some criticisms about the writing and acting - but screw that - it’s an instant classic and epic. You owe it to yourself to experience this movie.

Speaking of pre-publicity hype, Michael Lucas’ La Dolce Vita will hit the stores before years end. This is one time where their publicity machine should dial it down and humble it up. The project is great and stands on its own merit - no need for chest pounding here. I’m dying to see the screener and we will be doing a HUGE splash here with the release!

If you don’t check John Rutherford’s blog, you’re truly missing out. John is a part of the porn landscape, and like JK Rowling, there is a lot of info between the lines. The photography from his recent film hints at the understated majesty of his upcoming films Scorched and Quenched. These may well be the best films of the year. We’ll be posting a lot more on this shortly. Here are a few web quality photos. I will be posting hi-res galleries shortly as these are true art-quality images. They are truly screen-saver/desk-top material. Watch for them!

In case you missed my comments on “Filth”, catch a recent blog on my friends site, GayPornBlog.com. They were a bit more candid than I. I love those guys!
