‘N Sync Gay? Oh Yeah …

July 29, 2006 … I would have written an “emergency” blog, but who didn’t know that Lance Bass from ‘N Sync was gay. The great news is that he has come out and proud in a time when we need role models.  And congrats to him and his boyfriend, Reichen Lehmkuhl of “Amazing Race” reality show fame.

In fact, I wasn’t planning on writing about this at all.  But the “ahhhhhh that’s so sweet” factor took me over.  These guys are so cute, and so happy.  Dammit - the video is really honest.  They are sooooooo in love.  They made me cry and longing for something larger and less hairy than my dogs. 

Reichen is seen in a video on ET.  CLICK HERE while it lasts.  Their servers have been hit hard.  He comments: “I can speak for myself and others in the gay community about ‘beards,’” he explains. “We have girls by our sides that we call ‘beards,’ that can be difficult. It’s a fact of life for a lot of gay people who are in the closet to have a girl around.”
