July 8, 2006 … In major news, gay icon Bruce Vilanch has announced “A Sophisticated Evening” with Jeff Stryker. Honestly, I love Bruce. He’s a great guy. He’s the voice of the jokes behind the Academy Awards, Whoopie and so many more. And unfortunately this can take on the wrong meaning - but this time he may have bitten off more than he can chew. Does an evening of class with Jeff mean he’s only going to have martinis? It should be an interesting run to say the least. If anyone can produce this event - Bruce can do it. Good luck to both Jeff and Bruce. If you are in the area - it would be well worth seeing what might be a historical moment in gay theater!
But onto more important things. Now that the major portion of the launch is done, I am resting a bit easier. And now for the daunting task - adding more great content for you. Over the next few weeks, count on some really hot star profiles, and lots of movies being added with great hardcore galleries. Whenever possible, I want to link you straight to trailers - preferably hardcore so you can get an idea of the movie before you buy it.
All that aside. After only focusing on my computer screen for the last 3 weeks, I wrenched my neck to the side and looked into my living space. Retro took over, and I couldn’t resist the deco feel of the 50’s and 60’s. How can we overlook the huge contribution that period made in our lives! Now if I could just get the Fonz to drop by and bend me over… (Special thanks to X-Bix.com for the snappy photo!)
Thanks,
Mark
